Monday Madnessss

So I really dread Mondays, but thankfully today wasnt bad at all except for the fact that I really dont like government. :/ My teacher is actually really cool i am just not interested in the class at all so it makes it even worse. I have to write a 5 page paper on a current event that deals with American National Government that is due on friday and it has gave me hell! Im doing the Health Insurance Reform Bill and it has already stressed me out and ive had a headache for two days now! If anyone knows anything interesting that i should know about Health Insurance feel free to let me know! :] Im loving all my other classes and excited about this blogging thing because its cool to just write about your feelings and your day! <3

First Assignment

Well since i caught the flu...like every other person at UNCW, im a tad late on this assignment. I was feeling fine and then all of a sudden almost passed out and when i went to Urgent Care was told i had a 103 fever and it was good that i came in when i did....Wow.

Anyway for my first two blog assignments I went on a couple different websites because i am rather new at this and really didnt understand it at the beginning but i read some different blogs and then decided on some that interested me more than others.

The first one came from a celebrity site where i started reading blogs on Michael Vick.http://www.tvguide.com/news/Michael-Vicks-Abused-14091.aspx..I dont understand how ANYONE can like him or say good things about him. Yea, he is an awesome football player but an aweful person. I've heard many different ideas for how Vick would be allowed to play football again and one that made me laugh was that if he could run from one side of the football field to the other and back with pounds of meat stuck on him and 50 hungry pitbulls chasing him and not catching him, he could play. I love it. I think Vick should be killed by a damn dog...its what he deserves. His whole thing about changing and getting a "second chance" is bullshit. HE is a bad person and doesnt deserve anything. Especially not money

from the NFL.

The second blog i read that interested me was on this website where people can actually mail in their secrets anonymously on a post card! http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ I thought it was kind of crazy, but interesting. Some of them are really funny and the others sort of caught my attention because someone actually sent in one with their face on it and a message that said something like "i still remeber your birthday each year even if you dont remember me." Thats too sweet :] There is so many different emotions expressed on each post card and every one shares a different experience or feeling. Some are a tad depressing and others are scary sounding.. You can read alot of peoples secrets!!
